What is Art Licensing?
Art Licensing is essentially the process of renting out artwork.
Some illustrators and artists license their art to companies and sometimes private individuals for a specific period and at a set price.
This can include borrowing a painting or sculpture from an artist to display in the foyer of your business or on the wall of your living room.
But it is also possible to license digital files, whether hand-drawn or not. These files can then be used to print on products. This can include virtually anything—curtains, throws, tea towels, mugs, gift wrap, notebooks; the possibilities are endless.
What Can You License from Me?
The digital patterns in my Digital Patterns Portfolio are all available for licensing, with the exception of those that are currently loaned out to someone else in the same category.
The hand-drawn patterns in my Digital Patterns Portfolio are all available for licensing, except for those that are currently loaned out to someone else in the same category.
The hand-drawn illustrations you find elsewhere on my website are also mostly available for licensing, with the exception of those that are currently loaned out to someone else in the same category or those used for projects where further sales are not permitted.
Looking for something else?
If my style matches what you’re looking for but you don’t find the specific illustration(s) or pattern(s) you would like to license, that’s not a problem. Send me an email at info@daisy-design.nl. We can then work together to see if I can create what you’re looking for so you can license it from me and get the product you need.
